Lost over 3.5 Stone

“I have had issues with my weight for the past 30 years and tried various diets and exercise without success for a variety of reasons, my wife Suzanne had been to the Transform Hub on a 6 week course and really enjoyed it and I decided I would try and see how I got on.
This was November 2018 and I weighed in at just over 20 stone, I felt fat and had very low self-esteem. My first impression of The Hub was how welcoming everybody was, from the trainers to the guys I was training with

I am now 11 months into my journey and I have lost 3 stone and in that time I have gone from a 44” jean size down to a 38” and feel so much healthier and fitter. The guys I do the sessions with at The Hub are fantastic and so supportive to each other at every session, I have made many friends through The Hub and the trainers have been truly amazing helping me on my journey and I want to thank every single one of them.

The Men’s Hub is more than just a gym its a community. I joined 8 months ago on the 4 week Kickstart Programme a little apprehensive but was soon put at ease. All the members are welcoming and the support is like nothing else I’ve experienced in any other gym. After the first orientation meeting with head coach James 7 the Ambassadors I was soon ready with my meals planned and my 3 sessions ready to go! By the end of the program I had lost almost a stone and now feel the best I have in years and that’s purely down to the professional program and all the support from the other members.

Since the 4 Week Kickstart I’ve lost over 31lbs and in a better place physically and mentally. Massive thanks to James and all the team keep up the good work.

“Playing football since the age of twelve and finally finishing playing in my early forties I regarded myself as reasonably in good shape. Having picked up numerous injuries along the way once football was no longer an option I looked at other ways to keep in shape, such as swimming and golf but I didn’t stick at any of these. I joined the gym about 5 years ago and at first I did see some results but the novelty soon wore off and going became a chore. 

I started in February on the 4 week programme and by the end of it I had lost just short of a stone in weight and inches off my waistline. I carried on for a couple of months and then signed up for 6 months. I now set myself small achievable goals and once I meet that goal I set another. I have now been a member for 10 months and lost a total 23lb and working to my 2 stone goal. I still live my life, I still have a few beers but I exercise hard, I walk when I can instead of taking the car and have started football coaching again.”

Lost over 1.5 stone

After getting a knee injury & a lot of surgery my weight gradually increased and hit the dizzy heights of 11st 9lbs last Christmas.

The moment it changed for me was on New Year’s Eve last year. I was videoed by a friend trying to show my youngest granddaughter how to skip and I couldn’t believe just how unfit I was. The following day I just looked at the clip and realised that something had to change if I wanted to be around to see the girls grow up.

But for me the real life and soul of The Hub are the chaps that attend the sessions. As “fresh meat” starting in February I was immediately welcomed into the group. The outcome for me over the last 10 months has been tremendous! The weight loss is great (19lbs) but it’s not the most important part of the journey; those early 05:45am starts are brilliant!
The simple fact remains that in life so many of us make a bad choice because we can always find an excuse, work, family time etc…but getting out of bed at 04:45 is totally within my control, the only thing stopping me is me.
